Who it is for

The Taga Family is for parents of small children who want them in front and want a trike that is easy to store. Two children ride in seats in the front basket, which can be removed and folded. The trike is 1.93 m long and 78 cm wide, so it passes through most standard doors, and it is rated for 180 kg in total, including the rider.

Riding and everyday use

Three wheels mean the trike stands still on its own while you load the children. The Bafang rear hub motor with 60 Nm helps on flat ground and gentle slopes; with a single gear, steeper hills are hard work. The maker quotes about 50 km of range. Disc brakes front and rear do the stopping. As with every trike, cornering and cambered roads need a few practice rides.

Before you buy

The 180 kg limit includes the rider, so add up your weights. The Base version comes without child seats: seats, canopy and other accessories are extra and raise the price considerably. Ask the dealer for the battery capacity, which is not clearly published.
