Larry vs Harry · Front loader (bakfiets)
The fast, light Danish courier legend with an open platform and a Shimano EP801 motor.
€6,299
Manufacturer’s recommended price
The Larry vs Harry eBullitt is the sporty choice among front-loaders: at about 29 kg it is light and quick, and the open platform takes boxes, crates or child seats. Its derailleur, rigid frame and direct steering suit confident riders more than relaxed family use.
AllCargo estimate: 80 kg rider, 40 kg cargo, rolling terrain, tour mode.

The eBullitt is for couriers, tradespeople and active families who want a front-loader that rides more like a fast bike than a bus. The open aluminium platform between the wheels accepts many add-ons: a closed box, a crate, a dog basket or a child box for two kids. At 2.44 m it is shorter than most family bakfietsen.
The Bullitt is known for quick, precise steering and a lively ride; many riders need a few days to get used to it. The Shimano EP801 motor with 85 Nm and the 630 Wh battery give strong support and around 50 km with a load. The 11-speed Shimano Deore derailleur allows high speeds but needs more care than a hub gear, and there is no suspension.
The base bike comes with a bare platform, so budget for a box or child seats. For children, check that the chosen child box has seatbelts and a rain cover. If you want a calm, upright ride with lots of comfort, a family bakfiets with a hub gear and foam box will suit you better.
Yes, with a child box fitted to the platform, usually for two children with seatbelts. The bare bike comes without a box, so add it to your budget.
The steering is quick and direct, which feels unusual at first. Most riders get used to it after a few rides, and afterwards appreciate how agile the Bullitt is.
With the 630 Wh battery and the Shimano EP801 motor, around 50 km with a load is realistic, depending on hills and assist level.
The Larry vs Harry eBullitt can carry up to 2 children, depending on the seats and accessories fitted.
With its 630 Wh battery we estimate about 51 km per charge with an 80 kg rider and 40 kg of cargo on rolling terrain. Use the range calculator above for your own scenario.
The bike weighs about 29 kg and has a maximum permitted total weight (rider, cargo and bike) of 250 kg.
Prices start at €6,299. The final price depends on configuration, battery size and accessories.
