Who it is for

The Urban Arrow FamilyNext is the successor to the Family, one of the most popular bakfietsen in Europe. The Advanced Chain is the entry version: it has the same new box with higher backrests, one-handed seatbelts and a 125 kg box rating, room for up to four children and a 250 kg total rating, but uses a chain instead of a belt.

Riding and everyday use

The Bosch Performance Line motor with 75 Nm and the Enviolo stepless hub give smooth, easy starts, and you can change gear at a standstill. The EPP foam box is light, weatherproof and protects children. With the 545 Wh battery, plan on around 40 km with children on board. A suspension fork and hydraulic disc brakes keep the heavy bike comfortable and safe.

Before you buy

At 51 kg and front-loader length, the FamilyNext needs ground-level parking. If you ride long distances daily, the Advanced Belt with 800 Wh offers more range and less maintenance. Rain tent and extra seats are accessories.
